According to a report in the Altoona Mirror, that budget for next year has been proposed for now without any new tax property tax increases. And there are no proposed increases in sewer rates as well. The current proposal does contain a $1 million deficit, but with conservative estimates of both revenues and costs, officials say that a balanced budget can be ironed out. The budget has a projected estimate of $35 million for 2023. The report stated that the township balanced the current budget with $900,000 from its reserve fund, but has not used any of that money according to the report. Also the report mentioned that there will be no service cuts. Adoption of the new budget is scheduled for December 8th
