According to a report by WTAJ, PennDot is urging us to check our vehicles in time for the winter driving festivities. Check your tires for the correct inflation rates, also make sure to check your brakes. Always carry an emergency road kit in case of a breakdown or you become stranded. That kit should include a shovel, warm clothing, water, a flashlight and small food items, along with a fully charged cellphone. And PennDot has issued the following warning to drivers..due To a shortage of plow truck drivers, PennDot may be forced to reduce plowing efforts on some back roads this winter. PennDot says that main roads will be the top priority.
