State police report that 52 year old Richard Young of State College has been charged with the November 6th kidnapping of a woman. The report says that the victim told police she was called to go look at a house supposedly with Young’s sister. But Young himself arrived to pick the woman up and forced her into his car. He allegedly held the woman against her will for 24 hours. She managed to escape in to the woods in Somerset County when Young tried to find a spot to go to sleep. The woman managed to get free and call for help before Young took her phone and fled. He was arrested this week and charged with kidnapping. He is locked up in the Somerset County jail.
