Forecasters are predicting snow, sleet and freezing rain for much of the South Central Moutains, while the Laurel Highlands are bracing for a major ice accumulation, predicted to be as much as half an inch. Northcentral and Northeastern Pa are expecting up to 7 inches of snow from this storm, while Pittsburgh and Philadelphia are expected to be spared and get plain old rain.. Snow is expected in the South Central Mountains when the sleet and freezing rain changes sometime during the day. Conditions should improve tomorrow, with a projected high to be in the low 40’s.
