Locally, Penndot said it had drivers working through the night to plow roads and treat them, plus they will get to secondary roads as soon as possible. In Altoona, many neighborhood streets received plow work throughout the evening hours and are driveable this morning. But there still could be some streets and roads that may not have been worked on, so you are asked to be careful when driving this morning. Today’s high of 42 should help improve roads, driveways and sidewalks. Also in Altoona, residents are reminded to clear at least an 18 inch path on your sidewalks.
