According to a report by WTAJ, only convenience stores in the Altoona area will be open the usual 24 hours, some other that will be open include Shop n Save from 8a-6p, Rite Aid, CVS and Walgreens will be open, but hours may vary by location, Denny’s again hours will vary with locations, Perkins with varying hours and possibly some fast food restaurants. Most all businesses will be closed on Christmas day, but will all re-open on December 26th. If you need to go somewhere on Christmas day, it would be a good idea to call ahead to see if that particular business is open.
