Former AG Kathleen Kane was found not guilty in a Lackawanna county court yesterday on DUI charges, Kane, who served time in prison for leaking classified information during a statewide grand jury investigation while in office, was arrested earlier this year on drunk driving charges following a motor vehicle accident. The judge in the bench trial, found Kane not guilty, which baffled the prosecutor, who said that with the strong evidence that was presented, he doesn’t know how the judge reached his conclusion. Police said she had watery bloodshot eyes at the crash site, but she claimed she had no alcohol, but was caught on video drinking at a restaurant, which led to the prosecutors comments about the judge’s decision..
