State police in Somerset County are reporting that someone stole copper wire by stripping it from machinery and equipment in Brothersvalley Twp sometime between Sept 15th and October 28th of this year. Troopers investigating the incident say that the vandal or vandals caused several thousand dollars worth of damage to a crane where the copper wire was stolen, which is valued at $2000.
