Today’s Altoona Mirror reports that attorney Joel Seelye has announced a run for the bench of the court of common pleas. Seelye has nearly 20 years of practicing law. Seelye says that his courtroom will be run in an efficient manner and it will also be ethical. He also stated that he will seek to protect families and their constitutional rights. Seelye is a graduate of California University of PA, and from the Duquense School of Law. Seelye says he will also look for nominations from both political parties in the primary.
