Reports from the state capitol indicate that last a week after rep. Jim Gregory nominated Democrat Mark Rozzi for speaker of the house, now comes word that gregory has sent Rozzi a letter asking him to resign from the post. Gregory claims that Rozzi told him 3 times that he would switch his party affiliation to independent, but apparently Rozzi has had a change of heart, which apparently angered Gregory. He stated for the record that the bonds of friendship between the two have been broken, and Gregory called for Rozzi’s resignation. Dems in Harrisburg said that Rozzi assured them that he had not changed affiliations
