Well, a report out of Harrisburg indicates that Sen, Wayne Langerholc of the 35th district announced that a bill was passed in the senate chamber that would rescind the 2023 gas tax increase, and would also cap the wholesale price of a gallon of gas at $2.99/gallon. That move could stop future gas hikes from coming down the pike to help struggling families. Landerholc did not mince words when he placed blame for the tax increase, he said that Gov. Wolf and President Biden are to blame for the gas price increases because of run away inflation and poor decision making. Pa has the second highest gas tax in the nation. The bill now goes to the house.
