WJAC reports that the lawyer for Scott Williams continues to argue against DNA evidence that led to his arrest after more than 25 years after the rape was committed. Police and investigators produced DNA evidence that linked Williams to the rape of a woman in 1995, but that evidence has been challenged by Williams new attorney. That lawyer is trying to get a 2000 police affidavit which led to willias arrest thrown out, because there are questions about how the evidence was secured. A hearing was held yesterday in Centre County court.
