According to a report by WJAC, police arrested 21 year old Anthony LaCass after he reportedly entered a home along S.10th street Sunday evening and took the occupant hostage. The report says that LaCcass went into the home to get back money that he says was stolen from him by the homeowner, who was not the woman being held captive. Police say they found a backpack that contained cash, marijuana and drug paraphenalia, which LaCass claimed was his. He was caught with a gun, a chisel, a butter knife and 3 rounds of ammunition. He was charged with kidnapping, robbery, burglary, criminal trespass and making terroristic threats. He is in the Blair County prison, after bail was denied.
