Altoona Police report they stopped 43 year old Greg Potter back on December 14th for not using a turn signal on 3rd avenue and 3rd street. Potter was asked to get out of the car, when he began fidgiting with his pants pockets. Police discovered a prescription pill contained inside a rubber container, plus potter had a pocket knife that he turned over to officers. He was also allegedly in possession of crystal meth, and either heroin or fentanyl. Potter then told police he was in possession of a counterfeit $100 dollar bill. After his car was towed, police found 10 other suspected drugs packaged up in zip bags. Potter is facing numerous drug charges, and possession of counterfeit money.
