WJAC reports that police have identified an adult and a teenager, but have not released their names, for allegedly stealing the money in a coupon scam from the lottery. An investigation began at the beginning of the year when lottery officials notified authorities that more coupons had been redeemed than were sent out to customers. The bulk of the fraudulent coupons turned out to come from Centre and Blair counties. Police in a raid last week, seized large amounts of cash at a residence in pa furnace. Police have identified the two suspects reportedly involved in the scam, but have not arrested them, and no formal charges have been filed. Police continue to investigate to determine how the pair obtained the fraudulent coupons.
