WTAJ reports that Altoona police were sent to a Sheetz store on 25th avenue last Friday shortly after a man was discovered lying on the floor of the store in an unconscious state. The store manager tried to revive 30 year old Jeffrey Hankerson of West Decauter but was unsuccessful. When they arrived, police also found 23 year old Mackenzie Withrow also from West Decatur passed out in the front seat of a car. Police reported that an 8 month old child was found in the back seat of that car. Both Witherow and Hankerson were given Narcan, then taken to UPMC Altoona. Both suspects were arraigned on charges including felony child endangerment, and tampering with evidence.
