News reports indicate that the Fresh Ideation Food Group out of Baltimore has recalled products sold in a one week time period. According to a report from the FDA, several food products sold by the company have tested positive for Listera Monocytogenes. This listeria can cause sever medical problems for young children, the elderly and people with weakened immune systems. There is short term illness for healthy individuals, but still can bring on more severe problems. The foods in question are sandwiches, yogurt, snacks, wraps, salads and fruit cups and related products and were sold between January 23-30.
