Television news reports say that 55 year old Tammie Brolin of Allport was given a 10 year federal prison sentence for taking part in a drug distribution operation that spanned numerous PA counties, including Centre, Clearfield and Clinton in our region. Brolin was one of 38 people arrested for trafficking meth from Atlanta into Central PA. The federal investigation which took 18 months, was made up of numerous federal, state and local law enforcement agencies and several other federal agencies. Brolin pled guilty last September for intending to sell at least 500 grams of drugs that contained meth. After Brolin is released from prison, she will be on 5 years supervised probation.
