WJAC reports that police have charged 24 year old Wayne Zachariah with allegedly sexually molesting a 14 year old girl at a crawford avenue home in November. The report states that the victim reached out to a friend and told her about the abuse and did not know what to do. Zachariah claims the relationship was consentual, and that the girl gave him permission to perform sexual acts on her. Zachariah denied an accusation that he assaulted the victim on more than one occasion, but allegedly did confess to police that he did molest the girl. Zachariah is charged with aggravated indecent assault, unlawful contact with a minor and corruption of a minor. His bail was set at $60,000.
