The Altoona Mirror reports that the commissioners have agreed to a 6 month extension with Primecare Medical to continue to offer medical services at the jail. The extension will last through august 31st, and will cost the county $858,000 for the extension. The extension will give the county time to either work out another contract with Primecare, or seek out other options for the jail.
