Published reports indicate that the senator was taken to a Washington hospital last week after he complained of light headedness and feeling weak following a Democratic retreat. A a statement issued read in part that Fetterman did not suffer another stroke, and that his EEG results did come back normal. Fetterman suffered a stroke just before last may’s primary election, and did go on to win the senate race against dr. Mehmet Oz for the seat left vacant by the retirement of now former Senator Pat Toomey. Fetterman is expected to return to the senate chamber today.
