Fire crews were called out while the property owners were apparently burning garbage, and the flames quickly spread and got out of control. Some pieces of farm equipment were damaged by the flames, along with a building on the property, but there were no injuries reported. One fire chief on scene said that it is unusual to have a brush fire in February, but because of warm springlike temperatures, someone decided it was as good idea to burn, and took advantage of the warm temperatures.. Once fire crews arrived on scene, the flames were under control.
