News reports suggest the Spring Cove School District is supporting the plans announced this week for a brand new K-12 sports complex to be constructed on the site where the mill now stands. More specifically a new football facility and track are in the 1st round of plans. Newgate global resources revealed their plans for the site earlier this week, once the mill has been torn down. The spring cove school district is all for the proposal, but it still has to be approved by borough council. The district is also planning a feasibility study to see what upgrades need to be taken care of.
