The Altoona Mirror reports that 18 year old Collin Brothers was given a sentence of 2-10 years behind bars for participating in a shooting at a local convenience store during an encounter with other teenagers in june 2021. Blair D.A. Pete Weeks said that Brothers did not have or fire a gun, but had a significant role. Brothers has been in jail since June 2012, and will receive credit for time served on his sentence. That means that he will be eligible for release later this year once the minimum 2 years has been served. The accused shooter in this case, Preston Weakland is awaiting trial a SCI Pine Grove.
