WJAC reports that 20 year old Robert Oaks Jr was sentenced to 3-6 years in state prison for the abuse that occurred in 2021. Police say the child had suffered some 16 different bone fractures, and all were in various stages of the healing process. The child was taken to a hospital in November of 21 with a broken arm, when doctors discovered the other injuries. Oaks pleaded guilty to aggravated assault in October. Sylvia Kutchman told doctors that Oaks had been rough with the baby. She too pleaded guilty to simple assault and reckless endangerment. She will be sentenced in April.
