News reports indicate that the blaze broke out at the Pleasant View Farms complex in North Woodbury Twp just after 4 am Thursday. The office part of the facility was totally emersed in flames when the first crew arrived. The good news is that all of the available firefighters were able to put the flames out within an hour, and saved some 1600 dairy cows. They all were then placed with other farmers in the area. The office area was destroyed, but most of the milking parlor was saved. There were no injuries reported, and the cause is under investigation by the state police fire marshal.
