Back on Christmas day, residents of a townhouse community located on Amblewood Way were forced out of their homes because of a spreading sink hole that was tearing up the ground outside of their community. State Rep. Scott Conklin announced yesterday that $180,000 of state money will be coming to cover the cost of inspections, renovations and shelter for those affected. Some folks have been able to return to their homes at Georgetown town homes, but some of those townhouses still have foundation problems. Some tenants say they will look into their insurance policies for any help.
