Television news reports indicate that schools were put on lockdown yesterday afternoon following what is being described as “outside movement” that prevented any normal traffic of vehicles or people. Exit 15 of i-99, which is closest to the high school was blocked off and parents were cautioned not to go to the schools. All inside the schools were safe at all times according to the report. State police did report that three individuals apparently ran from I-99 after a crash, and were apprehended. Once that happened, schools were dismissed.
