Television news reports suggest that the Johnstown School District has suspended a school bus driver, after he allegedly shoved a 6 year old autistic student last week. 73 year old Christopher Ilg is accused of hitting the child last Wednesday. The report says that Ilg did not want the child on his bus because in his words he gets the other students worked up. Ilg then got into an argument with counselors who were on the bus, and told them the child could not ride is bus unless he follows the rules and listens. Ilg then is alleged to have pushed the child out of the bus. He was caught by a counselor. Ilg is charged with simple assault and harassment. He has been suspended from his driving duties.
