We return to Bedford County for our latest “Local Song of the Week,” and a song we have been playing in recent weeks from singer and songwriter Samantha Press. On “Peanuts for Penny,” Samantha offers a thoughtful ode about a circus elephant and its keeper. Samantha continues to maintain a busy performance schedule throughout the region with shows in central and western PA, western Maryland and northern West Virginia. Samantha will be a part of the upcoming Lorain/Stonycreek Hiking Trails Beer, Wine & Spirits Festival on June 3 at Lorain Borough Park in Johnstown, along with several other area bands and musicians – including headliners The Clarks!
