Storm damage across central Pa

Television news reports indicate that many trees were uprooted and power lines were down as a result of powerful winds that came through the area. One house in Altoona was damaged after part of the roof at Pleasant Valley Bowl slammed into that house. Trees came down on several roads across the region, and some took down powerlines, as of Saturday morning, many people were still without power. There were no reports of injuries. One television news photo showed a mobile home flipped over onto its side near a road and railroad tracks.
