10 state drug operation nets prison for some

Television news reports indicated that Mexican national Rene Alejandro Pompa Villa was sentenced to 14 years in federal prison for running a drug trafficking ring that included 10 states. Villa was sentenced for drug running, money laundering and conspiracy for operating the continuing criminal enterprise which included Michigan, Massachuetts, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Arizona, California, Alaska and Pennsylvania. Authorities say that villa would ship his drugs through the U.S.Mail to other ports around the country. Those drugs included, heroin, meth and fentanyl. Several others were also sentenced, and three others are waiting to be sentenced.
