The Altoona Mirror reports that charges against 45 year old Kenneth Wells were dropped after his alleged victim could not describe her ordeal to prosecutors. The report states that the victim began shaking violently, and became physically and emotionally upset and could not continue. Wells was charged with allegedly raping the woman at his home in Claysburg back in 2021. Prosecutors say that the woman could not continue to describe her ordeal, that she told them she was sick for days before her testimony and they felt she would not be able to testify in court. Judge Jackie Bernard signed off on a request by the prosecution not to proceed.
