In a report by WTAJ, the station located in Myersdale has been ordered by the FCC to stop broadcasting. Owner Roger Wahl was told to cease his broadcasts as of May 22nd for what the FCC called “lack of qualifications to remain a commission licensee”. Wahl is accused of using his station to allegedly have a woman he knows raped by several men, and also Wahl pleaded guilty back in 2020 to charges of reckless endangerment and unlawful, dissemination of an intimate image, and tampering with evidence. Another station owner in Meyersdale said that if Wahl tries to appeal the FCC order, he will appeal, stating that this kind of conduct puts all broadcasters in a bad light.
