According to a television news report, the 7 suspects, 6 from Ohio and the 7th from Tennessee would set up shop at various rest stops located in southern Pa and wait for the marks. Troopers reported that the men would randomly choose vehicles. Or just follow vehicles to ATM’s, where they would distract the victims with card games, then others would steal money and jewelry. The robberies took place between April 18 and 19 between Westmoreland and Dauphin counties. All 7 men were arrested and locked up in the Westmoreland county jail.
