A news report out of Pittsburgh indicates that the train left the tracks on Wednesday just outside of new castle. Some of the cars contained paraffin wax, which is used to make candles and soybeans. Norfolk southern said that its employees responded quickly to the accident, and that no chemicals were involved. Also no injuries were reported, and Norfolk did not release any information pertaining as to what caused the train to leave the tracks. 9 cars in all were involved.
