On Saturday at PNG Field, the curve invited teachers from all around the region who were nominated for teacher of the year and three were chosen as winners. They are…Kristen Blackburn, a social studies teacher at Windber Area Middle School…Jamie Murphy, an English teacher at Cambria Heights High School, and Lisa Harper, a teacher at Juniata Gap Elementary School in Altoona. Students in schools around the region submitted nominations for their choice for teacher of the year, and the curve celebrated all nominees and winners at Saturday’s home game during teacher appreciation night.
