That question was…Do you want to allow liquor licenses to be3 sold in the borough? So after 88 years of being a dry community, Duncansville residents voted to allow the sale of liquor licenses within the borough. A petition was gathered in February to get the question on the ballot, and 150 registered voters signed the petition to allow the citizens of Duncansville to vote on the question. One man said that is it 2023 and time to move on, another said that alcohol is sold at convenience stores, so why not in Duncansville as well. Borough council member Anette Lewis says that while the question was passed, she doesn’t expect there to be a flood of new bars popping up, but this will definitely help to bring business to Duncansville.
