A report by WJAC indicates that Orsino Thurman did appear in Bedford County court yesterday to answer charges for a shooting incident during a riot in 2020. Thurman was with the black lives matter protesters, and they marched through Bedford County and encountered resistance to their march. Gunshots rang out, and one Everett resident was charged in that incident, along with Thurman. Yesterday, Thurman pled no contest to 1 misdemeanor county of reckless endangerment and was given a sentence of 18 months probation.
