The Altoona Mirror reports that 38 year old Andrew Golden pleaded guilty to charges in court this week of possessing fentanyl with intent to deliver. Police reported they seized thousands of packets of what they believed to have been fentanyl in the trunk of Golden’s car when they found the car parked in Tyrone borough in November of last year. Golden and David Gubish were arrested at the time. Blair County D.A. Pete weeks said the packets of drug seized, possibly contained anywhere from 10-20 doses of fentanyl, and there were nearly 4800 packets confiscated. Golden was given 7.5-15 years in state prison for pleading guilty to possession with intent to deliver and illegeal possesion of a firearm. Gubish is still in the Blair County jail on $200,000 bond.
