A single mom living in Westmoreland County sent her mother to the store back in late April to buy a thermometer for her son who was sick, and to buy a lottery ticket. Well, the woman bought a Millionaire Maker ticket and had to call her daughter to come pick her up because she had scratched off a million dollar winner, and felt she could not drive for being in shock. The mother apologized for not waiting to get home to scratch off the ticket. The ticket was purchased at the shop and save in Latrobe. Oh by the way, they forgot to buy the thermometer. The mother of the children says she will now look to purchase a home with the money.
