According to news reports, the second suspect in the foiled plot has been sentenced to prison. Preston Hinebaugh was given a 2-18 month sentence for allegedly plotting a planned mass shooting at the school, just before he and his accomplice were arrested in December of 2021. His accomplice, Logan Pringle was sentenced to 3-6 years of jail time last year after pleading to charges of criminal conspiracy and making terroristic threats. Hinebaugh pleaded guilty to the same charges, plus illegal possession of a firearm by a minor.
