WTAJ reports the police arrested 20 year old Chayton Waters of Altoona was arrested Sunday night after a fight at a local Dollar General store spilled over into a home situation. Police report that two women and another man claim that Waters and the women got into a verbal argument at the store, when Waters allegedly punched the man, and stole one of the women’s phone. The woman told police they tracked her phone to Waters’ home on Maple Avenue. During that argument, the woman claims waters went inside his home and brandished a gun and ordered them to leave. Police were called and Waters was arrested and charged with felony possession of a firearm, carrying a firearm without a license, making terroristic threats, theft, simple assault and harassment.
