Pay more for dog licenses

A report in the Altoona Mirror indicates the state senate has passed a bill that would raise the annual dog license fee to $8, or $80 for a lifetime license. Residents 65 and older, and those with disabilities would pay $6 for the annual license or $50 for a lifetime license. Ff passed, the new fees would generate more money for state dog law enforcement. These would be the first such changes in more than 25 years. Also contained in the bill, is an increase to dog kennel inspections. That rate hike would be 25%
