The latest scam comes out of Cambria county, where scammers are soliciting residents via text messages to donate money to local volunteer fire companies. Both Cambria Twp and hope fire companies have alerted authorities and the general public of a scam to get money in exchange for a t-shirt. The scam is presented as a limited edition of the t-shirt, meant to get your financial in formation and n money. The hope fire company said that if they were selling shirts, they would post it to their own website, and would not send you any link to solicit donations..
