Television news reports suggest that Sgt. Michael Beblar was found inside his home on June 11th, and died 2 days later at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital. The investigation has revealed that there was evidence tampering inside the west hills police dept evidence room. Some evidence has been tampered with, according to state police. That fact indicates that other pending cases may be in jeopardy. Sgt. Beblar reportedly died from an overdose of fentanyl, hydrocodone and xylazine. The death has been ruled as accidental. The investigation is ongoing.
