Someone in a small town near Akron, Ohio called 911 this month when they saw HAIR sticking out from the trunk of someone’s car. They thought someone was in there . . . maybe a dead body. But there was a much more innocent explanation.
Police figured out where the owner lived and knocked on her door. Her name is Toria Townsend, and she was confused until she realized what happened.
She sometimes wears a WIG. But she’d just gone to get her hair done . . . tossed the wig in her trunk without looking . . . and part of it was sticking out.
She posted doorbell-cam footage of her talking to the police. As soon as she said “wig,” one of them cracked up and said, “You’ve gotta come see it.”
Toria says she’s glad someone called the cops, because it shows how much her community cares.
