Television news reports say that police are searching for 45 year old Donald Frantz of Punxsutawney. Frantz was supposed to appear at the Jefferson County jail to serve a weekend jail sentence after receiving a DUI. He failed to show last Friday. Police report that Frantz apparently fled into a wooded area from a home where he was staying. He was last seen wearing a red shirt, with tan pants . Additional charges of escape have been added to his DUI charge. State police are conducting the search for Frantz.
