Here is a listing of area live music and online music happenings for the weekend and week of Friday, July 14 through Thursday, July 20.

Usually the busiest weekend of summer for live music in central PA is Arts Festival weekend. And the schedule below offers proof…Happening this weekend are the annual Central PA Festival of the Arts in downtown State College, the People’s Choice Festival of Pennsylvania Arts & Crafts at Grange Park in Centre Hall, the 3rd annual Art in the Orchard at Way Fruit Farm near Strongstown, the Activate Altoona Music & Art Festival at Altoona’s People’s Natural Gas Field, the Penncrest Music Fest at Cresson Lake, the annual Bikers For Barkers motorcycle ride and concert at Roundhouse Harley-Davidson near Duncansville, the Bikers Kick Cancer’s Azz event at the Windber VFW, Philipsburg Heritage Days in Philipsburg, the Station Inn’s 30th Anniversary Community Event in Cresson, the Newburg Fire Company’s 100th Anniversary Bash and much more! Browse the listing below to see all of the live music entertainment options available, both outside and in. And with outdoor temperatures approaching 90 on Saturday, make sure to stay hydrated if you are taking in any of the outdoor events!

But pick out an event (or two or three), and – as always – SUPPORT LIVE MUSIC!
