Acccording to a report by WJAC, the state of Michigan has denied bail to rape suspect Kurt Rillema. He is charged with raping a woman at the Penn State golf course back on 2000. Centre County police got a DNA sample from a coffee cup to identify Rillema as their suspect. But Rillema is already in jail in Michigan for the exact same crime on a golf course. The report says that if convicted in Michigan, Rillema faces life in prison, and he may never get to Pennsylvania to stand trial. The victim in the State College case has filed suit against Rillema for the attack. She is seeking damages and a jury trial.
